The Rook Family Tree

 

RYLAND ROOK; was born on 27th June 1850 at Boughton. Christened 9th May 1860 at the Wesleyan Chapel, Boughton. Please note birth date is as per christening record, but there is a Reiland Rook born 3rd Qtr 1849 registered at Faversham. He died December 1885, at Boughton. Ryland was buried on Boxing Day aged 37 years.

Ryland married ELIZABETH CHARLOTTE FOREMAN on 20th August 1871 at Boughton.

Elizabeth was born about 1853 at Boughton. She was Christened on 7th August 1853 at Boughton. Her parents were Elijah Foreman and Mary Ann Jackson. Elizabeth died 3rd Qtr 1934, aged 81 registered at Faversham.

Elizabeth re-marries after Ryland's death to EDWARD WANSTALL during 3rd Qtr 1887, registered at Faversham.

Ryland dies in 1885, Charlotte marries Edward Wanstall in 1887. Ryland and Elizabeth's son Louis/Lewis is born in 1882, but dies in 1889.

The 1911 census states that Elizabeth had 14 live births, 9 babies still living. It is supposed to be for 'this marriage', but I am assuming she has calculated the Rook children in this also.
